Maxim Behar is founder and Chairman of the Board of M3 Communications College, the first and the only fully licensed college in Bulgaria for Public communication studies, associated with Manhattan Institute of Management in New York. Since 1994, he is CEO of M3 Communications Group, Inc. one of the most prominent PR firms in Southeastern Europe and winner of multiple awards (“Best Consultancy in Eastern Europe for 2011”, The Holmes Report; “Agency of the Year”, BAPRA Brigth Awards 2011 and 2013, “Strongest PR brand on the Bulgarian market”, Superbrands 2012, etc.) Maxim’s professional career started as a journalist in 1981 and between 1992-1994 he was managing director of Standart daily, one of Bulgaria’s leading newspapers.
For over 20 years, Maxim has been one of the most active and prominent figures in the SEE region in the areas of public relations, business and investments. He has served as Board Member and Executive Director for the Bulgarian Investment Forum (1997 – 2000), Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Association of PR agencies (2009-2011, now a Member of the Board), Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum (2001-2007, Deputy Chairman 2009-2012, Member of the Board since 2012 ). In 2013 Maxim has been elected Chairman of the World’s Communication Forum in Davos. He is Treasurer and Member of the Executive Board of the largest PR community in the world ICCO since 2010.
